First off, it's "for Queen and Country," not "for Country and Queen."
Secondly, it's pretty obvious that the talent that was grabbed from the U.S. is weaker than that of the U.K. If the best and brightest were taken from the U.S.; truly the BEST and the BRIGHTEST, than this season would've been a dud and the American fighters would've wiped the floor with the British.
Dana is not an idiot. Where the talent in the U.K. is growing by leaps and bounds, it's still not at the same level of the U.S.
With the economy in shambles and America divided as ever, is there any wonder how the Americans are acting? Stubborn, ignorant, money-hungry, etc. You know, the same traits that are found in American athletes in EVERY major sport.
Like someone else said, the U.K. fighters are simply hungrier.
However, when it's all said and done, the "doughboys" will still be bringing the contracts home
