I think a good concept for the show would be a team of Veterans(ala Tuf4) vs. a team of Rookies. Instead of having coaches, perhaps bring in a different guest trainer on each episode.

If they ever decide to fold the WEC, a great introduction for the Featherweight and Bantamweight divisions would be to have the champs coach.

As for season 10 I have no Idea who's left to use as coaches with out rehashing any one. I think Florian would make a good coach, perhaps set up a rematch with either Diego or Sherk and use them as the opposing coach.

According to Dana, filming starts June 1st, with a press conference to announce the coaches June 2nd.

Does anyone know what weight classes are planned?

i believe its supposed to be middleweight, light heavyweight, and heavyweight with a cap at 230lbs.

I'd like to see some kind of comeback format also.

There's a lot of guys out there who could benefit from it, as well as the fact that I feel I got some insight into fighters from TUF2 that I otherwise wouldn't have got.

Love to see people like Louiseau, McDonald etc get another chance. Didn't see what weight classes they're planning though.

Still think Lashley should stick his rather sizeable oar in there, although he's not taking in the money, the opportunity to make an enourmous splash / entrance and to very quickly raise his game is huge.

It would be cool to see Lashley on TUF. On the other hand I respect the route he is taking by trying to get some experience and show he is a legitimate fighter before hitting the biggest stage in MMA. He is an explosive athlete though, so I'm sure he will do well either way.

I also like this idea of having a comeback format for the next TUF.

They start filming june 1st...so they must already have coaches so you got to think of possible matchups for the coaches and the weights. you got either mw coaches,lhw,or hw coaches. so your possible fights can be:
lyoto vs Rampage
franklin/W.Silva winner vs Shogun for a number 1 contender spot
you can always do a lesnar/Mir winner vs Kongo/Dos Santos Winner
Shane Carwin vs Big Nog/Kongo/Dos Santos/ loser or winner of Lesnar/ Mir
Marquart/Maia winner vs A. Silva or W. Silva
You can also throw Okami or Sonnen into the mix as well,or even Cote.

Well since I wouldnt like seeing rampage and machida as the coaches either.I would like to see them both in the cage long before then,but one thought.They just did a USA vs UK TUF,whos to say they couldnt or wouldnt do a USA vs Brazil TUF maybe.That would solve several problems all in one fell swoop.

I wouldnt want to see Machida and or Rampage go that long either without seeing action but what about the idea of doing a USA vs brazil TUF since they just did a US vs UK that seems like a possibility, be it a remote one.

I agree completely. There's plenty of fighters out there that this could help to re-establish. Hell I'd like to see Louiseau on TUF is that's what they were doing.
