Not being a huge Kimbo fan I really have to say I'm impressed with the way he has carried himself. His recent interviews have shown maybe he doesn't have the massive ego I thought. No matter what you think of him it would be good for the sport if he does do great. I will watch all of his fights.

Not saying you are wrong but why would that be good for the sport?

1. Kimbo equals ratings
2. Ratings = more money for the UFC
3. Kimbo is exciting to watch for many (much like Tank A)
4. UFC has everything to gain if they can breed him into being a mixed martial artist.
Because of his upbringing many people have the perception that hes just some street thug who doesnt know how to carry himself in the public. Truth be told hes carried himself better than some of the top fighters in the UFC (Tito, Lesnar, Rashad even Diaz)
Everyone deserves a chance at bettering themselves imo.

He has always been a nice humble guy.....who likes to drink and smoke bud....like any fighter, he gets upset, tired....sometimes infantile....he flipped on Bas Rutten....he might have some concentration issues, but you gotta want to watch him fight, every punch is a haymaker....I don't see him going to a decision in any fight.
I enjoy the 2nd sweet science that is MMA, but I gotta admit, I still like hockey fights and bar room brawls, he brings out the kid in all of us.

I would like to see kimbo in the UFC, Not that they need it, but he could bring some good things there. Not to bad that a guy from the streets can become famous, and yet others have to spend money doing it.
Regardless, Kimbo would be a good asset to the company.

"I am just trying to feed my family"
I thing that line does not work when Kimbo says it, a man that have like 5 hummers, that earned thousands of dollars in his street fights, that earned fortunes in EliteXC, now says that he is just trying to feed his family? (I know he has like 7 sons and all of them have ridiculous names like "Kevina" for example, but anyway...)

Hey must of did well in the ultimate fighter, because up until recently Dana White had nothing but a negative opinion of him. During UFC 102 Mike Goldberg said something about Dana saying kimbo is a tough guy. So opinion has obviously changed and we will see him fight in the ufc. Just a thought

I think we all will shit our pants if Kimbo wins this tourney, IMO, it's Nelson's to lose, but WOW, this would be ROCKY-esque if Kimbo gets it.
