Its not like they can stop fights from happening, so trying to take out Kimbo early isnt a big suprise, but Big Country could get KTFO, but so could Kimbo, good fight all around. | Yeah but he's where he is and they are where they are,and he didn't wanna listen, until they hit him low and made him listen. Some times it takes the hard way.Tough love, you know?

Wow, horrible judging. I had Wes taking both. I would have settled for a third but no way in hell Shivers wins. Wes had him mounted in the second, rear naked choke attempt, takedown, controlled him on the ground. The first was so obviously Wes, he pushed in the begining and scored a takedown and landed the harder shots in the first. Shivers landed the harder shots in the second, especially with that overhand. But its like Rampage said he was turning all the way around and running away lol. How is that pushing the action? He was only a little more agressive in the second round and other than the overhand punch none of the other strikes seriously did any big damage. Wes should have won that fight and i was shocked at the outcome.

Definitely should have gone to a third round...Shivers looked tired at the end of the first round, but he pushed it that round and I would've given it to him. Second round they both looked ready to pass out. Neither one was overly impressive that round - Shivers had the full mount, but he definitely wasn't going after McSweeney - McSweeney had the leg kicks and the RNC at the end, but he wasn't quick to take advantage of Shiver's being tired and he looked like he would rather catch his breath than take advantage of a moment of weakness in his opponent. All in all - surprised it wasn't sent to a 3rd round - I don't see how either one of them clearly won in just two rounds.

WOW. I CANT BELIEVE THAT BULLSHIT. It definitely should have gone to the third round!!! Sure Shivers was beyond gassed, but the number one pick of Rashads team could barely keep it going either!! I thought with what i had read about McSweeney, going into that fight he was going to destroy Shivers...but he actually ran from him at that one point. I definitely dont see him taking the contract, he wouldnt last a minute with any real UFC HW's. If Shivers had any cardio at all, I think he may have taken it with just punches...
As for Kimbo VS "Big Country", I cant fucking wait!!! I hope to God that Kimbo KO's his ass, im already tired of Roy talking like hes a top of the line fighter, calling himself a master? No disrespect to Nelson, but he has WAY more to prove before he starts self-proclaiming himself as a master/veteran. Haha " When ,uh, 2 masters throw,uh,both theyre bags of stuff in..." To be honest, i think if Roy doesnt try to pull off a submission on Kimbo, he'll get KO'd. Either way, hope its a hell of a fight.
btw, did anyone hear Rashad screaming at the top of his lungs? Before it showed that it was him, i was like who the hell is squeaking like a little girl? lol
Hope Team Rampage gets the next win. Speaking of, it really sucked watching Rampage knowing that he fucking retired...

I think it was Shivers' all the way but the hands on the hips and shit looked real bad.

Shivers pushed forward and had the takedowns, I just don't have any faith any more | I think Shiver did not check any kicks, where almost all the damage in the fight came from. He also gassed much earlier, and definitely didnt do anything to win the fight.

apparently 2 judges missed the kimura that nearly snapped his arm in the first. had he held that for another second, things could have gotten ugly

o man im so pumped for next week. and now that i no kimbo isnt fighting wes sims in the first round, we can cross out the outcome that kimbo got knocked out. This is how i see that fight going, either kimbo wins, he gets screwed on the judges score card badly and loses, or he loses but puts on a great fight that shows vast improvement on his ground skills

I'm sure Kimbo will win...but its possible that the UFC/Spike are promoting the fuck out of Kimbo because it might be his last appearance as a contender and they want those ratings.
Hopefully not though. I'm sure that Roy will get dropped because of that clip of Kimbo connecting on Roy. It looked like a well placed punch.

I never took a look at the punch Kimbo gave Roy until I read your post.
I must have paused and rewind a good 30 or so times on the punch and it's clear Roy is dropping, he is totally off balance in that last frame. Whether that KO'd Roy or not we will find out, but Kimbo hit him right on the button.
