First, I don't see why people hate (or as the case seems now) hated Kimbo. He is a guy who did what anyone else would have done. He was given the ball and he ran with it. Should he not have wanted to be successful?

Nelson is no slouch on the ground or standing. He isn't Fedor or Brock, but he is the champ in his respective organization. Can't say he or anyone fights "cans" either, cuz those "cans" could whoop the hell out of any average person.

That said, Nelson is not in the league of the HW's in the UFC. Kimbo isn't either, but Kimbo does have one thing going for him. Potential...

Obviously Baz and Rampage saw it.

I said it before, Kimbo will probably win this whole thing. Why? Cuz Dana said "never"... When Dana says "never", it's almost a guarantee it will happen.

Just imagine Kimbo against guys like Dos Santos , Valasquez or Kongo. Thats like entry level in the top HWs in UFC. He would get murdered.

No he didn't. He beat the living fuck out of Thompson, unless you call feather dusting Kimbo for 30 seconds with punches that wouldn't hurt a baby a win.

What's wrong with liking Kimbo? The dude had the greatest marketing scheme ever to propel him into American superstar status as much as any fighter can achieve. He's humble, and is just trying to make a dollar like anybody.
