Default About tonight's episode (spoilers on this episode but please no future spoils)

What the fuck.
That was about the most anti-climactic fight I ever watched.
I was really looking forward to that fight, then .....well.....then nothin!

I mean, no doubt, Kimbo lost the fuck out of a jui-jistu match. But Roy didnt exactly impress. He won, clearly, but not in a way that anyone would want to pay and see. Did Kimbo even have a mouse, cut or anything?
Jesus Christ.

Anyhow, I think it's a given that Kimbo get's back in the game. And I don't know anything that happens later in the season. Please don't bring that to my thread cuz I dont want to know. But semi-pro HW's prolly get hurt very often, hell, Spike made it looks like Kimbo will be back next episode, ha.
Let the conspiracy theories begin.
But I didn't really lose a desire to see Kimbo again after this. He has to know that he can never, ever get taken down, and look at it that way. Wreckers or checkers (NASCAR term) if you know what I mean. Go all out and swing for the fences and flip the fuck out if anyone tries to take you down.
Cuz on his back, Kimbo is HORRIBLE! He is like an alligator on the ground.
He has to learn that the little knee he tried cannot be attempted again when thinking TDD.

But anyhow, my point was that the fight was extremely anti-climactic. Dana shoulda made em go another round any fuckin way.

what got me was nelson acting like he had just won the whole show and was ubeatable. he reminded me of how matt hamil used to act on the show. im findind myself likeing kimbo more and more. i mean the guy hasnt complained one bit and has done nothing but bust hiss ass. anybody can respect that. nelson on the other hand has come off seemingly a very arrogant person. of course this could just be spike tv potraying this to like this on purpose but anyway thats what im getting out of all this. oh and i definantly think somehow kimbo will end up fighting again on the show especially after the glimpses of the next show

He will "somehow" end up fighting again? Hell, I think he'll fight on every single episode considering the ratings. Even if he loses every fight. Dana White will personally bust other contenstants' knee caps with a sledge hammer if he has to and bring him in as a permanent replacement.

As for Slice, he was always a very simple, yet humble person ...but he's not improving much at all and is still extremely one dimensional.

i dont know which was worst, the shamrock gracie 2 fight, or this....i dont know why roy was all big headed for maybe they told him to do that or not, but that was in no way an impressive win at all for him, and kimbo i dont know whether it was roys fat ass and he gassed but after the first few attempts he just stopped trying to get out of the bottom...he def needs to get better at that and stop them from mounting him or getting side control....

Before the fight I was telling my gf about the grappling match between roy and frank mir and saying he should already be in the ufc. After the fight I don't care to see him fight again. All he did was lay on him and tap his head. I figured Nelson would win, but I didn't think he would cheese it like that.

You know what?

Roy Nelson won that fight with barely a scratch and totally dominated Kimbo. Perfect gameplan and the disrespect he was shown by both Rampage and Dana White were uncalled for. I bet you Kimbo would give anything for that win right now, huh.

Why in the fuck would he stand and bang (which he did longer than he ever should have) when it's a well-known fact that Kimbo has no ground?

Answer: He shouldn't.

And as far as a celebration.....he just beat the guy touted as the "STAR" of TUF 10 in dominating fashion. Why wouldn't he celebrate?

People need to get a grip on reality. He had him in a helpless position and hit him enough to have the fight stopped. Even worse, the fight should have been stopped in the first when Kimbo completely put his arms down and essentially gave up. Why would Roy risk cracking a hand by pounding on his head when he had it easily won?

^what he said. When matt hughs does it to bj (even though i still believe its because of his busted rib) it's a domination, but when roy nelson gets him in that position it's just enough to win? kimbo showed a lot of fighter spirit, but he needs to learn some elbow discipline and shrimping cause that crucifix keeps biting him in the ass lol.

^^ +1

and what's with the freakin Kimbo promotion between commercials?

The show is RIDICULOUSLY biased towards him and it's annoying.

Exactly. Roy didn´t need to hurt him b/c they are at completely different level. Dana is just pissed that Kimbo got exposed so fast and might not draw as many viewers anymore. Witch is quite pathetic considering he was calling Elitexc out for having Kimbo as their main draw when he had only the name but not the skill.

I was extremely impressed with Kimbo. If he can get his take down defence up to par he'll be a fucking beast. If he can't...fat people will continue to lay on him and lightly punch the top of his head.
