In my opinion, Nelson won by EMBARRASSING Kimbo. Awesome and hilarious.
The guy has 0 skills on the ground and that's it.
Much like Gina, the knee to the gut is not always a good move to use.

I'm not surprised that Kimbo lost, but I would have been heated if I'd paid to watch that shit. When Roy gets someone in a crucifix, they should call it a naked belly choke. | So again, nothing about Kimbo's performance except you expected him to lose. Kimbo get's basically no critique, after he gets dominated and Roy gets all the heat for not throwing with more impact....
WTH, I don't think I have ever seen a dominating winner who stopped the fight...get so much criticism in and after the fight. Pure Kimbo biased B.S.

You folks are critiquing the dominating winner...so ridiculously biased. | Biased to what? I don't give a shit about Kimbo's progression on TUF lol i'm just saying I would have liked to see more out of Roy Nelson and I was unimpressed.... Is that possible to say in an innocent and unmotivated manor or does that automatically make you a candidate for being biased? Cause if that's true then go back and read some of your own posts regarding Fedor and that should be a cut and dry case of being biased.
My whole reason for talking about Roy the way I did is because he is a veteran and I feel that people don't necessarily hold Kimbo to the standards that he actually is at. I never thought Kimbo would win that fight and figured it would probably end on the ground with Nelson in the mount but after seeing the way in which the fight transpired I was kinda surprised Kimbo even made it out of the first round given the position he was in so... I dunno I guess I would have liked to see more out of Nelson because that's pretty much what I expected out of Kimbo.

If your definition of "laying on top of someone" is constantly going back and forth between who is in the dominant position, as well as acting like a wild man in his fights.....then yes....Sideshow Bob lays on people.

So you are unimpressed with Roy? cool. Then you have to be totally unimpressed with Kimbo right? Since he basically did nothing.
Like I said, I have never seen a dominating winner get so critiqued.

Like I said, I have never seen a dominating winner get so critiqued. | I guess I just never expected Kimbo to win that fight and felt that he really wasn't all that great as an MMA fighter as of yet so I can't really say I was unimpressed as I never had any high expectations of him like I did Roy... Sorry I sorta edited my post after you quoted me.

Well then we just will have to disagree, because for me although he didn't win in a flash KO or submission...Roy owned the entire fight.
Kimbo did nada.
Roy took him down, got mount, crucified and pounded his face in twice.
Nothing more dominating than that. What else did you folks expect? Kimbo to come out with a broken eye socket or broken nose?

I think some of you get too caught up in the drama of TUF. I never dislike a fighter because of his attitude IF he can still fight.
I don't really care about a guys ego that much, Roy is not a top tier fighter. Fight facts: Roy took him down, got mount, crucified and pounded his face in twice.

Personally, i thought it was a dominating victory, even if he was hitting him with "tap" shots. What was his reason for not hitting him with power punches or elbows, only Roy would know. Like one of the posters said, maybe going for a power punch would throw him off balance. Nonetheless, if the round had continued, Roy would have kept on with the "taps", they woulda piled up and eventually after a few mintues they would have gotten to Kimbo's head, and the round would have been scored 10-8. JUst cause there is no visible damage doesnt mean the fighter's head/brain is paying for it.
