I will say this much, the more i see of Kimbo on TUF, the more I like him as a fighter. Not because he's good bad or whatever, it's because he is willing to admit that he is just a dude that likes to fight and was given the opportunity. He's not demanding anything, he just takes what he's given. Any of you that know me or have read my posts before know that I am not fond of Slice. I don't find him to be an 'elite' fighter. He'll never be able to beat Lesnar, that would be far worse than a Serra GSP upset.
Answer me this, do you think if Slice ended up on Rashad's team if he would have been able to beat nelson? I think it would of doubled his chances myself. Rampage is the worst coach ever, and Rashad is an uber-wrestler and could of severely helped his chances of breaking out of roy nelson's fat attack.
your thoughts?

I mean, does Nelson seriously think he can talk a bunch of psudo-trash and still be on Dana's good side??All in all the guy comes of as VERY arrogant and self important and while I liked him prior to this whole TUF stuff, I think he's done himself some damage by being kinda a prick.
To be honest, I can't see him beating Lesnar, Nog, Carwin, Cain, dos Santos, Crocop, Kongo, Mir, Gonzaga or Rothwell if he wins the season and while I think he's quite talented, I think he should be FUCKIN GREATFUL for what he's got right now. | Look, I don't know how many Roy Nelson fights you've watched, or which ones. But I know it can't be to many. I think he can take most on the list you gave if he can get it to the ground. I think he would outstrike Nog, Cain, Mir, and Lesnar.
And can someone please explain to me why Rothwell is being marketed as the "#1 IFL HW".

your thoughts? | Anyone can see Kimbo for whatever reason will never understand how to fight on the ground. He is way to stiff. All he knows is how to throw punches. Which he happens to be very good at lol. I don't think its so much who the "coaches" on the show are but who the "coaches" coaches are when it comes to good preperation.

Even if Kimbo COULD somehow drop to LHW, it would be worse for him because he's not exactly fast or has much cardio, so fighting the bigger, slower HW's is a better matchup for him. Let's just be honest, the dude has zero ground game. If you have no ground, you're not going anywhere in MMA. On top of the that, his stand up isn't anything to write home about. His chin is very suspect too. He's not even a big guy in the HW division. He's stiff. He hasn't evolved since his street fighting days. So let's get this straight, he's slow, small for his division, no ground game, little stand up, bad cardio, he's stiff and he's not getting any better? I really don't even see what he has going for him. Guy's got a good attitude and seems like a decent human being but that's no reason to pay money to see him. I wouldn't pay money to see a nun fight in the cage, put it that way.

Props to Roy for winning and taking it to the ground, but he really did nothing of consequence to Kimbo and true, there was like 25 punches thrown each round, but they looked like sparring-level strikes, opposed to what you'd give a true foe. Kimbo didn't look too worse for wear after the bout either.
Nelson's a gatekeeper and Kimbo's a joke. | You think Nelson's performance was so bad? If the ref didn't call the fight Kimbo would still be in that crucifix.

He could of turned it up at any point but why run up a stairs when you can take the elevator?

Best MMA interview I read all year. Nelson preaches it how he feels it.

Wow, the more i listen to this big country fool the more i dislike him. I had him as a favorite to win and wanted him to in the begining. Now, after seeing what a tool this guy is i hope Kimbo and this guy fights in a rematch and Kimbo whoops that ass. I was not a fan of Kimbos but after seeing that he wan'ts to learn, says he is not what the hype machine built around him, and knows what he is, i respect that. I hope Kimbo does come back, i think he would murder James, that guy didn't show me shit. I am only cheering for Kimbo now because how awesome it would be if in the finale he knocks Big country the fuck out.
Lol, wow whoever says that Brock only uses his size and not his skills or technique is a fool. His wreslting ability, work ethic, mindset, and athletic prowess is what seperates him from other massive guys that only use their size. He incorporates it with his skill and technique, to say otherwise is just foolish.
