I agree with you. I just think lebenis going to Surprise a lot of people. Also thanks for the intelligent conversation about this topic. It was been enjoyable. And just so everyone knows Im a fan of leben and wandy, this fight is going to be hard for me to watch.

I find it pretty friggin hilarious that people actually think Leben would have a chance against Wandy because he has power... really guys come on. This is Wandy "The Axe Murderer" Silva we are talking about, not Aaron Simpson, not Sexyama, not Terry Martin. Leben would have no chance in hell against Wandy and the fight would be a huge huge step back for Wandy.

First I know you guys will go "Well Wandy's chin is not what it used to be" this is true. But who has KOed Wandy in the last 4 years, Cro-Cop, Hendo and Rampage. All three of those guys hit way way harder and are far better strikers and MMA fighter in general then Leben could ever hope of being.

Take this into consideration also; Leben is hands down the worse fighter Wandy will have fought in over 3-4 years. Yea his record is not the prettiest over the last few years but he has fought Cro-Cop, Hendo, Liddell, Jardine, Rampage, Franklin and Bisping. Bisping is the worse fighter on that list and Bisping dominated Leben with ease. So it’s kind of laughable to think Leben would be nothing more than cannon fodder for Wandy.

Leban makes some exciting fights, but people dont realize the difference between leban's past opponents and wand. He isnt what he used to be, but it will still take a legit title contender to beat him, he would beat most of them anyways. Leban doesnt make it out of the 1st.

If your talking about me I do see the difference and I do agree with the underline statement I think people are selling leben short and I could see him winning this fight

I don't disagree with you, but Leben is a fighter on the rise, Wanderlei is on the decline. Even if Wand destroyed Leben, it would be a great fight to watch because styles make fights, and these two would be a toe to toe war!

See this is where I disagree with you a lot. Leben is not on the rise, he was losing to Sexyama and 30 seconds away from losing the fight until he pulled off the submission. In a rematch I am pretty sure Sexyama would win and it would be hard for anyone to argue otherwise. Wandy is not on the decline like everyone thinks. He has lost some tough fights to some of the best fighters in the world. The only fighters Wandy has lost to in the UFC have been former champions (Liddell, Rampage and Franklin) and he has beaten the guys who have not been.

I do not want to see Wandy fight Leben because its a huge step back for him. Leben is not a contender and never ever will be. Wandy is prehaps one or two good wins away from a title shot. I would much rather see Wandy fight Nate Marquandt, Okami/Munoz winner, Belfort or the Silva/Sonnen loser. Those are fighters that are worthy of someone of Wandy calibar... not Leben.
