So who falls victim to the TUF coach curse

So who falls victim to the TUF coach curse?

I am not sure if anyone else has picked up on this but if you look all the coach's from the past it seems after doing the show one of the coaches career takes a dump for a short time.

So will this year’s victim be GSP or KOS?

I am just wondering how so?

Season 1 -
Liddell - won the LHW and went on a dominating campagin as champion.
Couture - eventually won the HW title.

Season 2 -
Hughes - went on to beat Riggs, Gracie and Penn in his next three fights.
Franklin - Had one of the most brutal KO wins in history over Quarry.

Season 3 -
Shamrock - Career slide big time but I think we all expected that.
Ortiz - same but I do not know if we all expected that.

Season 4 -
No real coaches.

Season 5 -
Penn - Went on to be dominating LW champion.
Pulver - Career is in ruins.

Season 6 -
Hughes - Has gone 3-3 since the season (loses to GSP, Alves and Penn).
Serra- Has gone 1-3 (loses to Hughes, GSP and Lytle).

Season 7 -
Forrest - Won LHW title.
Rampage - Has gone 3-2 since the show (loses to Forrest and Evans).

Season 8 -
Mir - 3-2 since the show.
Big Nog - 1-2 since the show.

Season 9 -
Bisping - 3-2 since the show.
Hendo - 1-1 since the show.

Season 10 -
Evans - 1-0, waiting for a title shot.
Rampage - 1-1.

Season 11 -
Liddell - Career was already on the slide.
Franklin - Almost in title contention at 205.
Ortiz - See Liddell.

So to be honest I do not really see a "curse." Shamrock and Pulver were already on the decline. Big Nog is nearing the end and the same with Liddell and Ortiz. Serra faced the two best WWs in UFC history and only barely lost to Hughes.

To answer your question, I think it will be GSP because Kos is going to KO him in about two weeks time.

i disagree with rich being close to title contention he lost to belfort in like2 minutes. beat a fading wandy barely and was losng to chuck when he knocked him out. not knocking the wins but no way he gets past jones, bader, rampage, evans, shogun, machida even thiago silva and phil davis. i think hell lose to forrest too.

although gsp has the overall better game, but i think of kos uses his wrestling to keep it standing, he puts georges to sleep.

gsp falls from grace.

Dan got cut? The Zufftapo wins again.

I don't think anyone has noticed it because losing fights when you get to the upper tier is the standard in MMA. There are currently only a few fighters who have sustained dominance for more than 3 fights at the upper echelons of their divisions. If you believed the hype generated for some of the TUF coaches, I guess the Zufftapo has won again.

I don't agree with the 'TUF curse' but as far as losing steam and slipping down the rankings, I think George has much more to lose than Koscheck does, so with that said George would be the one to suffer. If Kos gets beat, it's just another dominating GSP win, but if GSP loses, you can expect to see the "Was GSP overrated this whole time" thread. Plus, there are some good looking people in the WW division that may give George a run for his money (Shields, Condit, BJ Penn at 170 again, etc).

& The tuf curse strikes again :)
