Any one catch the new tuf last night ? some dam fine fights. lots of power for such small dudes :grinsmile1: |
The first 3 fights were crazy. I find it funny that Miller was getting under Bispings skin so easily |

Definitely some ill post-production editing going on there, as those fights clearly didn't unfold in that order (check the specks of blood on the mat that hadn't actually appeared yet). I credit that to them though, because one of the biggest complaints about bantam and featherweights is their lack of finishes and non-power punches (justified criticism or not, you decide). But the sentiment is clearly there, and by showing those fast highlight reel KOs in quick succession like that it really disproves that myth and sets high expectations for the season. What did they say, like 8 KOs, 6 subs and 4 decisions? That's incredible! |
hot damn! i havent watched TUF since Serra won it but i watched the first one last night and im tuning in for sure... there is so much more talent in just last nights show (winners and losers) id be willing to bet half of the people that lost their prelim fight will be in the UFC at some point |
Great fights for sure. I could care less about the drama in the house or the drama between Miller and Bisping but I'll tune in for the fights. |
Amazing set of fights. Seems like there's a huge amount of talent on this season.. and they're all out for blood which i like. |
Easily one of, if not the best, season premier I can remember. So many fighters turned on the heat and really put the pressure on their opponents, it was really good to see so much fire so early into the season. Wednesday was really just an explosion of awsome fights and names I tried to remember lol, cant wait till the teams are picked and I can start picking favourites from there. I actually came home yesterday and watched them again. Very impressed. |

What was insane was those two fighters who had GRANITE CHINS it was crazy. one of em was basically out on his feet for like two minutes taking punch after punch it was insane, eventually in the second, mazagatti stopped the fight The other was getting bombed on before he was eventually ko'd, but he also took an insane amount of punches and kept staying in the pocket |
I loved the fact they took them to the Mandalay Bay for the fights, kinda got them fired up and inspired. There won't be cardio issues like with the HW seasons we've seen, some explosive KO's and TD's. I love it, in spite of a season without Paul McVeigh. Although the way they were talking in the narrative afterwards, we may not have seen the last of him. |
