Galvao-Dantas II For 135-Pound Title Set For Bellator 156 Main Event In June

A new main event has been announced for the upcoming Bellator 156 event scheduled for June.

In a rematch for the Bellator Bantamweight Championship, Marcos Galvao and Eduardo Dantas will meet for the second time after two previous attempts at setting up a rematch between the two fell through.

The Galvao-Dantas bout will headline the Bellator 156 event, which takes place on June 17, 2016 from the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California, and will air live on Spike TV.

Dantas and Galvao met for the first time in 2013, where Dantas won via second round knockout. Galvao would bounce back to win the Bellator 135-pound title from Joe Warren, but when a rematch between he and Dantas was set up for Bellator 144 and Bellator 150, both times the fight ended up being cancelled before it hit the cage.
