Gesias “JZ” Calvancante Signs 4-Fight Deal With Strikeforce


Top lightweight Gesias Calvalcante has signed with Strikeforce to compete in their 155lb division according to a report on

JZ will join a division that features Gilbert Melendez, Josh Thomson, Lyle Beerbolm, Vitor Ribieiro and many more of the worlds top '55 pounders.

The report states that Calvalcante's contract will run for one year and includes four fights.

He is expected to debut in August.
