The event is sponsored by Rob Zombie's Halloween Unrated Director's Cut DVD.

According to Mezger, the former UFC and Pride stars, Edwards and Spratt, will be exciting additions to an already star-stacked fight card.

“A huge bonus for the fan,” declared Mezger, a former UFC Champion who now heads up HDNet FIGHTS fight operations. “Either one of these two (Edwards or Spratt) could easily be fighting in the main event. They are just two true professional fighters who give you a lot of action, every fight.”

Other Texans competing on the card in include; Robert Villegas (Corpus Christi), Chris Bowles (Dallas), Freddie Espiricueta (Dallas), Jason House (Dallas), Patrick Castillo (Copperas Cove), Marcus Lanier (Mt. Pleasant), Liam McCarty (Dallas) and Lee King (Houston).
