Two Big Title Fights Announced For UFC 187

UFC is setting the stage for what will undoubtedly be their biggest show of 2015, as the promotion is planning on a major, double-title main event for their Memorial Day pay-per-view event.

As reported on this week’s edition of UFC Tonight on FOX Sports 1, UFC has scheduled two title fights for their UFC 187 show, which is scheduled for May 23rd in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The main event of the show will feature Jon Jones defending his UFC Light Heavyweight Championship against Anthony Johnson, while the co-main event will feature a UFC Middleweight Championship bout between Chris Weidman and Vitor Belfort.

Also official for the card is a long-awaited Lightweight contender bout of significance, as Donald Cerrone will look to continue his impressive win streak as he takes on undefeated, highly-regarded contender Khabib Nurmagomedov.
