Jose Aldo Out Of UFC 149 In Calgary, Faber Vs. Barao New Main Event

UFC 149 main eventer Jose Also joins the growing list of fighters on the UFC injured reserve after getting hurt in training. Aldo had been scheduled to defend the UFC Featherweight Title against Erik Koch but that bout will now be postponed until a later date.

The new main event for the injury plagued card will feature Urijah Faber and Renan Barao fighting to decide the interim UFC Bantamweight Title while champion Dominick Cruz sits out with an injury.

The Faber vs. Barao bout moves over from UFC 148 where it had been the co-main event on that card. Barao himself had been a replacement for Cruz who was set to defend the title against Faber.
