King of the Streets, Manny Reyes Jr.
Sid Needelman reporting…
The DJB Group is putting on an MMA card this upcoming weekend named the “King of the Streets.” The card appears to have been fluid in the time leading up to the event at the Silver Spurs Arena, but by Friday at the weigh-ins it will be conclusive who will be battling on December 1st.
The weigh-ins will be held on Friday, November 30th at 6pm in the exhibition building nearby where the event will take place itself the next day.
The American Top Team member Jayson Patino who hails from Orlando, faces off against Eduard Guedes, who comes from Porto Alegre, Brazil for his second pro fight in the States.
Crafton Wallace the UFC veteran, and fighter who also fought on the card where Frank Shamrock beat a Gracie, will take on Rhomez Brower from North Carolina. For those who bet on MMA, Crafton is 14-3-1 and Brower has just under a dozen fights with half of them not being successful encounters.
Several American Top Team members out of Orlando will also be on the card looking to make a name for themselves and shine in such a loaded camp.
Also on the card, is the internet-known Manny Reyes Jr.
Manny is not the most well liked fighter in the world and at the now defunct AFC events, Manny fought and lost to Hermes Franca. Franca took a single dollar the story goes to get the chance to fight Manny. According to the Sherdog record database though, that was his only pro-MMA loss. He takes on Joey Wahlberg in his pro-debut.
For those who cannot make it to Orlando this coming weekend, the DVD production of the event should be out much quicker than many other events get released. MMA2theMAX production had the “Night Fights” DVD out just weeks after the event which was held a month ago when Seth Petruzelli beat Sean Sallee in that night’s main event.
Tickets are still available for Saturday’s event through Ticketmaster.
