Matt Hamill Retires

In what comes as some disappointing news, fan favorite light heavyweight Matt “The Hammer” Hamill has announced his retirement.

Hamill took to his website to make the news official, just days after his technical knockout loss to Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 133.

Hamill fought a total of fourteen bouts, with thirteen of them under the UFC banner. He closes out a storied a career with a 10-4 record. Victories over Tito Ortiz, Keith Jardine and Mark Munoz anchor his ledger.
