Matt Hughes Inducted Into UFC Hall Of Fame

Matt Hughes has become the eighth man to be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame. The former UFC Welterweight Champion was inducted into the Hall yesterday during the UFC Fan Expo in Las Vegas.

Hughes holds a career of 44-7 and is 17-5 in his 22 fight UFC career. His first appearance into the Octagon was at UFC 22.

He has held the welterweight title on 3 seperate occasions, and at one point defended the title five consecutive times.

Hughes joins the likes of Royce Gracie, Ken Shamrock, Dan Severn, Randy Couture, Mark Coleman, Chuck Liddell and Charles “Mask” Lewis Jr. in the UFC Hall of Fame.
