The following is an excerpt from a new MMANEWS.COM Blog by our own John Specht:

Diaz Getting Stronger With Each Fight

The MMA world has been abuzz for three years regarding the recent rematch between Nick Diaz and KJ Noons on Saturday night with Strikeforce.

It was definitely worth the wait.

Earning his 8th win in as many fights, including wins over the likes of Scott Smith, Gomi, Katsuya Inoue, Frank Shamrock and Hayato Sakurai.

And now KJ “I want my daddy” Noons.

That's one hell of a laundry list of “disposed of” fighters.

And yes, I stated the Gomi fight was a win. Everybody knows that regardless of any self-medicating that went on before, during, or after that fight.

After the fight, Diaz had a clear idea of what he wanted next.
