Radio: The Fight Card (Guests: Hughes, Lindland)


Adam from's “The Fight Card” radio show sent along the following:'s newest radio show The Fight Card is now online with the October 30th episode.

On this week's show, The Fight Card guys pick apart Randy Couture's beef with the UFC. Is it about money, or respect? Who is right, Dana White or Randy Couture?

The Fight Card's first guest for the show – Matt Lindland – claims the post-fight payouts were never given to him despite his extreme skill. He also says that a union would be extremely hard to form, and that's why they have set laws in place to protect them.

They dissect TUF 6 star Dan Barrera's extreme training regimen and his strange bathroom regimen. They go over how Matt Hughes has lost control of the quarter final matchups.

Matt Hughes comes on the show as guest number two this week, and doesn't fall for the trap set by Mr. Intercontinental! Matt shows no remorse for anything he has done so far as a coach on TUF. Hughes says that Serra was only on TUF because he wasn't good enough for the UFC. He says Serra is not a top ten 170 pounder. “I do plan on retiring in the next few years,” Hughes says.

He wants to take Georges St. Pierre down if they get a rematch.
