Injury Forces Matt Riddle Out Of UFC 91 Bout

"The Ultimate Fighter 7" cast member Matthew Riddle (1-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) has suffered a serious knee injury that will force him out of his Nov. 15 UFC 91 bout with Ryan Thomas. Riddle, who was slated to make his welterweight debut in the un-televised preliminary fight, will soon undergo a second MRI, a representative from his management team today told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com). It's believed Riddle suffered an ACL injury or possible meniscus tear, which could sideline the 22-year-old fighter well into 2009. |
