The popular Ring Of Fire promotion is headed back to Colorado Friday, May 14th, 2010 with 11 fights on the night's card, including a top women's prospect, undefeated Cat Albert, facing off against Xtreme Couture product Karina Taylor in a classic clash of the classic "ground fighter" versus "striker" matchup.

Cat went to high school in Boulder, CO where she got involved with combat sports when she was the lone female wrestler on the Boulder County Fairview High School wrestling team. Family and friends would also tell you it is her fighting spirt and the fact she seems to be good at "everything she tries", that has caused her interest in fighting.

It was the pregnancy and birth of her child that brought Cat to her first Jiu Jitsu gym to get back into shape. She began training Jiu Jitsu in March of 2007 with Professor Mauricio Zingano and instantly fell in love with the sport. The rest is history as she went on to compete in, and win several tournaments, including the 2007 World Jiu Jitsu Championships. Throughout her entire Jiu Jitsu career, she has never had a point scored against her.
