Numerous Reports have surfaced that indicate former K-1 and Pride Fighting Championships star Mark Hunt (5-6) has been tapped for UFC 119. Hunt’s rumored foe is unbeaten prospect Sean McCorkle who’s managed to put seven wins together while only going the distance one time in his professional career.

This news seems extremely unlikely as Mark Hunt has dropped five consecutive bouts, all of which ended within the first round. While it may be logical to bring Hunt in as a showcase opponent for the unbeaten McCorkle, it also seems a highly risky maneuver given McCorkle‘s relative inexperience.

Victories over Wanderlei “The Axe Murderer” Silva and Mirko “Crocop” Filipovic anchor Hunt’s résumé, while only two of McCorkle’s seven opponents sport winning records.
