Bellator Fighting’s current middleweight champ Hector Lombard (25-2-1) has agreed to compete in a non title bout at Bellator 24 on August 12th at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Fla.. His opponent, Herbert Goodman is a former NFLer with an overall professional career mark of 15 wins to 8 losses.

Hector Lombard is currently riding a 14 fight win streak, and has racked up four stoppages fighting for Bellator. Goodman has won five of his last six bouts, including four stoppages.

According to MMAjunkie.com, who initially broke the news, the contract has been agreed to, and one signature is already jotted.
