Once upon a time camps like Miletich Fighting Systems and The Lion’s Den ruled the realm of mixed martial arts. As the years unfold, technique, athletes and coaches evolve. As a result once legendary training facilities have fallen under the radar, their prize fighters succumbing to age, or outsourcing in search of the greatest modern training possible. The Gracie family, a perfect example, may once have been the most feared family of fighters on the planet, but oh how the times they change.

#5 Xtreme Couture:

Captain America’s camp has become legendary for inviting and fine tuning already established and successful martial artists. Over the years Randy Couture has been the obvious gym staple, but with talent like Tyson Griffin, Gray Maynard, Forrest Griffin and one of women’s strongest representatives Gina Carano all calling Xtreme Couture home, it’s undeniable the talent pool that still swims within Xtreme Couture’s walls. Surging prospects Todd Duffee and Evan Dunham act as proof that this is a gym very capable of producing top talent, still relevant in today’s MMA scope. And to be honest, I really haven't even touched down on the official roster.
