MMANEWS.COM Staff Writer Episode nine launches with a look at both Jonathan Brookins and Sako Chivitchyan as they prepare for their clash. Both men look comfortable in preparation, but there’s a special confidence in Brookins that makes him shine, despite the low key demeanor. Sako meanwhile maintains his integrity, treats Brookins with the utmost respect, and, overall represents himself, and his belief in his skills quite maturely. Both men recognize the danger the other poses, but both seem confident. We get a look at Armenian buddy Sevak Magakian pumping Sako up, and ensuring him he must get a win to erase the memory of Magakian’s own defeat to Brookins. Meanwhile Brookins and Nam Phan bond outside, juggling grown man’s dialogue. Note, that both groups are quite respectful. Brookins vs Chivitchyan get’s underway and Sako comes out firing. It’s isn’t long before he resorts to his clinch tactics however, as he attempts to force Brookins to the cage where he can control and score points. Brookins has none of it however, and scores a great hip throw. After some jockeying for position Brookins finds himself on Sako’s back, working to get both hooks in. He does so, and soon after get’s an arm wedged under Sako’s chin, it isn’t but a few moments before Brookins seals the choke, stretches Chivitchyan out and coaxes the first round tap. “This guy’s the real deal,” declares Dana White.
