Episode 10 launches with Michael Johnson falling victim to some Team Koscheck pranks, as some rubber bands around the faucets leave him a little wet. He and Alex “Bruce Leroy” Caceres trade a few verbal barbs, but Bruce Leroy keeps his grin intact, unfazed.

With two fights on deck for this episode, there isn’t much time for any other in-house antics to shine, as Team GSP’s Kyle Watson and Team Koscheck’s Aaron Wilkinson take to the cage.

Wilkinson’s gameplan is simple, keep the distance, avoid the takedown and fire big punches, while Watson is looking to get a hold of Wilkinson early in order to put him on his back where he’s weakest.

The fight starts, and Wilkinson looks like he’s stuck in neutral, while Watson executes his plan with perfection, putting the Englishman on his back immediately. Watson works a methodical pace on the mat, and eventually takes full mount. Wilkinson escapes, only to give Watson his back.

Back against the cage, Watson works for a rear naked choke, while Wilkinson defends fairly well for a moment. It isn’t long however before Watson is able to slide from the cage, and apply more pressure to the choke. Though Watson’s arm isn’t completely sunk, he applies enough torque to force Wilkinson to tap, moving the low-key Watson one step closer to the finale.

Wilkinson is clearly disappointed in himself, “Embarrassed for everyone who knows me.”

Between fights we get a look at legendary boxing trainer Freddie Roach, who comes in to aid GSP’s team with some one-on-one training time. The whole team is in awe of Roach, who notes that he’s trained “27 champions” over the course of his legendary career.

At the weigh ins Koscheck continues to prod St. Pierre, cheering for Bruce Leroy while taking every opportunity to throw childish insults at the red team. It’s more simple minded Koscheck banter, and not many seem to amused anymore.
