Scott Coker Says Fedor Not Retiring, Could Return In Grand Prix
Posted on Feb 13, 2011
Despite Fedor Emelianenko losing his second straight and telling the crowd in New Jersey last night that "it may be the time to leave", Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker told the media last night that he is confident Fedor won't retire and, could possibly return in the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix as an alternate:

"Fedor always comes back in the third [round], but he didn’t get a chance to [against Bigfoot]. As far as a retirement, you know how that goes. People get very emotional during a fight and we’ll see. My position is we have many more fights with Fedor, and he’ll honor his contract. Fedor could absolutely be a replacement [in the grand prix]. A committee will decide who will move forward [if a fighter is injured]. I’m not even on that committee. Fedor is definitely a possibility. It could be Fedor that goes in there, depending on what the committee decides. He will be fighting some high-level competition. He’ll have some more fights before the end of the year."

Coker
Well, Scott needs to stop saying dumb shit. What we are slowly seeing here is the collapse of Fedor's career. And this is a big blow to the whole Strikefake, I mean Strikeforce roster. Coker knows when Fedor goes, Strikefake takes a big blow. And Strikefafe cant afford any loses at all. Good luck.
