Now officially confirmed from inside sources, the much discussed meeting between The Ultimate Fighter Season 12 winner Jonathan Brookins (12-3) and the heavy handed slugger Jeremy Stephens (19-6) is becoming a reality.

The bout is expected to unfold at The Ultimate Fighter 13 finale, which transpires June 4th at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Brookins took top spot on season 12 of TUF and earned himself a lucrative contract with the UFC. He made his official debut a successful one when defeating Michael Johnson last December.

Stephens has seen just about everything there is to be seen, and over the last few years gained a tremendous amount of experience and support. He’s racked up a 6-5 record inside the octagon, and while it’s anything but perfect, it’s proof of Stephens’ fortitude and determination.

Today’s UFC roster is cluttered; what happens for the loser here is anyones guess.
