Coker: Prelim Talks For Dan Henderson Vs. Fedor Emelianenko Have Begun

According to Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker, talks have begun for a potential Strikeforce Light Heavyweight match up between Fedor Emelianenko and Dan Henderson. Coker spoke about the possible fight via Twitter:

"There have been "preliminary discussions only" for Hendo vs. Fedor. Wouldn't be in June/July when Hendo wants to fight next."

According to a report from Fighter's Only, sources within the Russian's camp have confirmed that a move to the 205lb. division is something that he is considering and could very well become a possibility.

Fedor vs Henderson

I hope this fight happens, because it would be a very interesting fight with two styles very different from each other clashing. If they make the fight, Fedor has to go to 205, Henderson barely weights a little over 205 normally. Also like to see Henderson vs Lindland because of the whole team quest lawsuit going on at 185.
