Cesar Gracie: Our Guy Just Won't Fight One Another
Posted on Apr 11, 2011
Hot off the heels of his TKO victory over Paul Daley this past weekend, many have been playing match maker suggesting Nick Diaz challenge Georges St. Pierre for the UFC Welterweight title but Diaz's manager and trainer Cesar Gracie doesn't really think that match is possible right now, due to the fact Jake Shields challenges St. Pierre in just a few weeks:

"As far as Nick Diaz is concerned, there's nothing out there like him, really. I'd love for him to fight GSP but I think his teammate's gonna take care of business. My guys won't fight each other, it's just one of the laws we got. Even if I didn't want that, they just don't want to fight each other. It's a big world with a lot of good fighters out there, why do they have to fight each other? Because people want to see it? People want to see a car accident, I don't really care. Our guys don't fight each other."

Diaz vs. GSP
I would Love to see that if GSP gets past Jake Shields. To beat GSP you need to be Great on the ground, (like Shields.) GSP has a Beautiful Record 21-2 and he avenged Both loses, but I do NOT like the wrestling hold you down and lay on you style. His last ? fights have went to Decision and that's NOT what a Great Champion does, (go to decision.) God BlessĀ
