Details are beginning to roll in on a rumored Strikeforce bout that has become official according to reports from Jonathan Snowden and Josh Gross.

Snowden first posted on his twitter account that:

"Sources close to both fighters tell me the Fedor Emelianenko and Dan Henderson fight has been finalized for July 30th in Chicago on Showtime"

Followed by:

"Sources close to the promotion say the Fedor-Henderson fight will at a catchweight of 220. It will be promoted as a heavyweight bout."

Gross posted that the fight would be held at heavyweight.

No official announcement from Strikeforce or the UFC has been made but if reports are true, the deal is near final and could be announced in the coming days.
