Dan Hardy Vs. Chris Lytle To Headline UFC On Versus 5

An explosive welterweight fight will headline the next installment of UFC on Versus as Dan "The Outlaw" Hardy and Chris "Lights Out" Lytle have been pegged for the main event slot of UFC on Versus 5 August 14th.

Both fighters have shown interest in fighting the other and have vowed to stand and bang out an exciting show for the fans.

The event takes place from the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wis. and is also expected to feature the following bouts:

* Dan Hardy vs. Chris Lytle
* Ben Henderson vs. Jim Miller
* Cole Miller vs. T.J. O'Brien
* Duane Ludwig vs. Amir Sadollah
* Stephan Bonnar vs. Karlos Vemola
* Danny Castillo vs. Jacob Volkmann

FARCE

I think Hardy is a farce. He came into the UFC beat up a few losers (Davis, Swick) and gets a title shot. GSP smashed his hopes and since then Dan has been Knocked out and held down for 15. These one dimensional strikers have no answer for takedowns, ground and pound and submissions. And Lytle can do it alllllll. Chris is a beast. Anywhere the fight goes he is dangerous. As for Dan...if the fight is not on the feet his chances of winning are around 0. He even got beat at what he's good at. Carlos put his ass out. Dan Hardy is nothing compared to the top of that division. MMA is not just punching. Maybe he forgot that. Lytle is gonna win. Could be by KO, Submission or decision. Hardy is not UFC material. Sorry Buddy.
