MMANEWS.COM Exclusive: One On One With Jesse Taylor

By MATT MOLGAARD
MMANEWS.COM Staff Writer Jesse “JT Money” Taylor is probably best remembered as the madman who stomped a mud hole in the ass of Las Vegas after battling his way to the finals of the seventh season of “The Ultimate Fighter”. Rest assured, there’s a lot more to JT Money than one horribly drunken Vegas outburst. This kid has proven to be a dangerous warrior with the ability to rise to the occasion, and topple favored foes. In his time away from the Octagon, Taylor has gone on one of the most impressive post-TUF stints ever, dismantling the likes of Murilo Bustamante, Tom Watson and Denis Kang, to name just a few. Not only has Jesse proven himself a physical threat, he also packs a load of recognition amongst MMA fans; this guy is headlining smaller events on a regular basis. Boasting a career record of 19-6, Taylor has posted an impressive 13-4 post TUF mark. As aforementioned, Taylor hasn’t been cracking cans either. This man is crushing high caliber opponents, and a return to North America’s largest promotion seems more realistic than fantasy. Taylor, who just disposed of Denis Kang a few brief weeks ago, took some time out of his day to answer a few questions for MMANEWS.COM. For that we’re appreciative; upon reading this short discussion, you may appreciate the facts as well. This kid has grown up over the last few years, and it’s about time the casual crowd of MMA followers take notice: we’re speaking with a new middleweight threat. Check out the full discussion on page two, and be sure to weigh in with your thoughts on Jesse “JT Money” Taylor in the comments section at the bottom of page two!
