Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Tito Ortiz not only got his first win in 5 years this past weekend at UFC 132 but did it in impressive fashion by knocking the sense out of Ryan Bader and then forcing him to tap via guillotine choke two minutes into the first round.

Following the win, Ortiz talked about where he'd like to go from here and explained his rebirth and changes in fight preparation that he feels contributed to the beating Bader in one of his most impressive wins:

“I gave [UFC President] Dana [White] his opportunity to find someone to beat me, and it didn't work [with] Bader,” said Ortiz in a postfight interview with UFC.com. “So give me my shot at one of the guys I thought that I beat already in Forrest Griffin. [The judges] gave him a split decision, so give me another chance at him.”

“[This was] the rebirth of Tito Ortiz. I’m injury free. I’m very healthy. I had a great training camp. I did it at home. This was the first time in 11 years that I didn't go up to Big Bear. I think being mentally focused really helped out a lot,” said Ortiz. “I had a lot of personal problems with my family, and I really focused on the positive and surrounded myself with people who uplifted me and showed me the true champion I really am.”

Again?!?
Are you serious? Tito's fights are becoming like re runs. He is holding onto something that just isnt there anymore. He is an older, slower fighter in a pool of younger, faster, stronger talent. I'll give him the respect for catching Bader but that doesnt prove in the slightest way that Tito is by any means "back" or that he can even come close to hanging with the top of the division. Not a chance. He's another one that should fill out his retirement papers.

One of the best
Although Tito has nothing to prove(other than to himself) it is nice to see him back in the mix.I bet that he has a good chance of beating Jones if he gets the fight soon before he is plagued by injuries. As for Chael Sonnen, I like to see him fight Vitor, Franklin or Leben.
I also heard that Sonnen has some new ass-less chaps.
