The craziness continues. In a shocking turn of events, UFC president Dana White tweeted the following on Thursday evening.

"This is crazy but here we go again! You wanted it so you got it. Penn vs Diaz Oct 27th in Vegas"

B.J. Penn was quick to take to Twitter himself, as he soon thereafter tweeted the following.

"Me and Nick Diaz!! OCT. 29th"

There you have it. Nick Diaz's odd behavior has resulted in a flip-flop of the original main and co-main events for UFC 137. UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre will defend against Carlos Condit in the main event, and Nick Diaz will make his UFC return against top-ranked B.J. Penn in the co-main event.

UFC 137 emanates from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 29, and also features an exciting heavyweight attraction of sorts, as Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic battles Ultimate Fighter season ten winner Roy "Big Country" Nelson.

This is what Nick needs. A real fight. Nick is on a winning streak right now but...against who? Class C fighters thats who. He dominated over in Strikeforce but this isnt Strikeforce...this is the UFC. And if I remember correctly, Diaz dropped 3 in a row in the UFC before. Nick looks good when he's fighting someone who is a bum. Guess what... BJ ain't no bum. Noone in the UFC is a bum. If nick can prove that he really is a top dog in the division then by all means he deserves a title shot, but going from KJ noons and Evangelista Santos to BJ Penn and GSP is a huge difference. HUGE! Just becasue you win 10 fights in a row against slouches doesnt mean your at the top of the heap with the best. GSP has fought world class top competition every single time he steps into the octagon. Same thing for BJ. Nick Diaz hasnt had a superstar fight since when??...Sean Sherk? Diego Sanchez? Shit...even Joe Riggs and guess what....he lost all 3 of those fights...consecutively. Nick is over rated. Sorry to say but look at his track record. Who's his biggest win? Robbie Lawler? Who was never really a threat to anyone with talent. Frank Shamrock? He was good in the 90's. Sort of. Who has Nick fought and beat that is a world class athlete? NOONE! Just another fighter who is popular becasue of his big mouth...not because of his track record. BJ wins. Nick will be laying on his back looking at the lights or waking up gasping for air. Get em Beej.
