Dana White revealed that UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre has pulled out of his UFC 137 main event fight with Carlos Condit due to an injury.
"It's GSP's knee," tweeted Dana White, revealing the source of the problem that resulted in the champ's withdrawl from the bout.
White claims Carlos Condit will not have a new opponent for the show, as they will sit him out to wait for St-Pierre's return, which White claimed although still somewhat unsure, GSP could be ready to go again in a "couple of months."
As far as UFC 137 is concerned, the new main event will feature 50 percent of the original UFC 137 main event (Georges St-Pierre vs. Nick Diaz) as Diaz vs. B.J. Penn will now headline the card. White noted of that fight, "it will be 3 rounds not 5."
