After weeks of rumors, it’s been officially announced by UFC brass, Urijah Faber and Dominick Cruz will coach opposite one another on the upcoming fifteenth season of The Ultimate Fighter. The season will mark the first time that bantamweights have served as coaches, and will also see the series make a move from the Spike network to FX.

Once again, two divisions will be on display, as the contestants will register on scales at 155 and 170 pounds.

“I can’t wait to be the next coach on The Ultimate Fighter,” states Faber who will be looking to win the rubber match between he and Cruz. “I am looking forward to mentoring a bunch of hungry and talented fighters. The new cast needs to be ready to work hard and learn. Having Dominick coach on the opposite side couldn’t be more perfect. I can’t wait to mentally beat him up as a coach, and then literally beat him up in the cage and swipe that UFC strap.”

Expect to see Cruz and Faber compete in new fashion come March.
