FEATURE: MMA's Top 10 Knockout Artists
Posted on Jan 23, 2012
Dan Henderson: Dan Henderson wasn’t always a knockout artist. Once upon a time he favored his wrestling over his boxing, but a mass amount of experience has changed that. “Hendo” has developed one of the most frightening overhand rights in the game, just ask Michael Bisping. 13 of Dan’s 29 wins stand as technical knockouts, or knockouts.

Melvin Guillard: Melvin Guillard may well be the most powerful man competing at 155 pounds. When he lands anything of substance, opponents don’t just fall, they crash to the canvas. The man’s career has made for a remarkable highlight reel, as is evidenced by the 19 knockout stoppages that decorate his overall 29 victories.

Junior dos Santos: The UFC heavyweight champion didn’t earn his gold strap by stealing narrow decision victories. He did it by obliterating a string of quality foes. Boxing is the man’s game, and many have fallen victim to the Brazilian’s heavy hands. Of his 14 victories, 10 have come via knockout or technical knockout.

Paul Daley: Paul Daley may not be a fan favorite fighter due to his overtly brash demeanor, but he packs a massive wallop in his punch, and his Muay Thai is a bona fide threat. If this man lands a flush shot, the fight is most likely over. Just reference his record, which boasts 20 stoppage victories in 29 total fights.

Hey Brad, Shane has NEVER gone beyond a single round in a winning effort, AS I SAID. Second, I look to RELIABLE databases when referencing a record, virtually all of which list Guillard as having 29 victories, rather than the 46 that the UFC insists on listing. I do my research!
