MMANEWS.COM Staff Writer Brendan Schaub spoke with MMAjunkie.com recently, spilling a little insight into his future as a professional fighter. Apparently the former TUF heavyweight standout will likely return to action at UFC 154. According to Schaub plans are already developing, "When I talked to Joe Silva [on July 6], they said Nov. 17 is the plan. Nov. 17 in Montreal is the plan.” Schaub, who was knocked unconscious in his last outing by Ben Rothwell at UFC 145 has now suffered back-to-back defeats for the first time in his career. Before running into the fists of Rothwell, former champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira put the Grudge representative to sleep with strikes at UFC 134. Despite succumbing to blows in recent efforts, the 29 year old Schaub isn’t hesitant to tangle with another striker, “if it was up to me, I'd love to fight Lavar Johnson. That'd be fun, right?" We’ll see if Joe Silva feels the same way! UFC 154 takes place on November 17th at Montreal's Bell Centre. Welterweight kingpin Georges St. Pierre is expected to make his return to the octagon to meet interim title holder Carlos Condit.
