MMANEWS.COM Staff Writer Given all the hardships and injury withdrawals to befall UFC 149, it's difficult to imagine anything positive being produced by the event. Just the same, there were a few aesthetically pleasing bouts and a few extremely impressive finishes. That however, doesn't change UFC President Dana White's opinion of the card. White Spoke with MMAFighting.com and shared his thoughts on the event as a whole. "I said this the other day and it's true: We make money," he said. "This company makes money, and I like breaking records. We broke the gate record tonight and I'm embarrassed by it. I was excited when I heard and now I’m embarrassed. The undercard delivered -- they were awesome -- and the main card did not." With Hector Lombard's lethargic performance and a rather uninspired bout between Cheick Kongo and Shawn Jordon, it's rather eay to agree with White, who saw a once promising card crumble before thousands of spectators.
