MMANEWS.COM Staff Writer Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez looked to be the next big thing when he stopped Brock Lesnar on his way to claiming the UFC Heavyweight Title, that was until he faced Junior Dos Santos at the UFC's first ever show on the FOX network. Velasquez was knocked out in the first round, losing the title and causing many to question the hype behind the American Kickboxing Academy product. At UFC 155, he hopes to avenge the loss and by bringing new tools to the cage: “Getting the win back,” Velasquez answered when asked what’s more important in this fight. “And just knowing that you beat the best guys out there to achieve the belt.” “I could be my best, 100-percent and I could still not win the fight,” said Velasquez. “But me knowing that I did everything I could, and that when the bell rings I’m going to do that with a purpose. “I’m going to punch with a purpose, look for different stuff in the stand up, if it goes to the ground do my best down there. Keep doing all that stuff.” Props: MMAWeekly.com Leave your feedback on this article by posting a comment directly below!
