After no showing a press conference in Toronto yesterday, Nick Diaz again was no where to be found for today's UFC 137 conference call and thus, UFC President Dana White has decided that Diaz will no longer be part of the main event against Georges St. Pierre in October.

White has said due to Diaz telling him he would fulfill media obligations to his face and then no showing, not once but twice, that he has taken him out of the main event title shot.

In his place will be Carlos Condit who has stepped in and will fight St. Pierre for the Welterweight title on October 29th.

Though the two do train at Greg Jackson's in New Mexico, there was no issue in fighting each other. St. Pierre was happy to accept the fight and commented that he felt Condit was a better fighter.
