Official: CSAC Suspends Sonnen; Silva-Belfort & Marquardt-Okami Set

The California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) slapped UFC middleweight contender Chael Sonnen with a year-long suspension, as well as a $2,500 fine, as revealed in an official statement released by the commission today.

Below is the official CSAC statement:


The California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) has suspended the license of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter Chael Sonnen, after Sonnen tested positive for steroids, a banned substance.
