According to SI.com, Affliction 2 will air on Showtime PPV on January 24th.
The event is expected to made official on Monday according to Affliction VP Tom Atencio and will feature Andrei Arlovski taking on Fedor Emelianenko for the WAMMA Heavyweight title.
The undercard of the show which will feature Antonio Rogerio Nogueira and Vladimir Matyushenko in the "main event" of that portion of the show will air live on HDNet fights.
It appears that despite all the problems that Showtime had with EliteXC hasn't made them turn the other cheek on MMA so to speak.
The event will be a co-promotion between the premium channel, Golden Boy Promotions, and Affliction. More bouts are expected to be finalized this week.
