Baroni Fails Drug-Test, Gets Year Suspension And Fine

Phil Baroni tested positive for Boldenone (Equipoise) and Stanozolol (Winstrol V) in his pre-match test before his fight with Frank Shamrock on 6/22 in San Jose.
Baroni, who was injured going into the fight and tore his groin off the bone early in the fight, has been suspended for one year and fined $2,500.
Frank Shamrock, Cung Le and Anthony Fryklund all passed their tests for both steroids and street drugs.
