Sid Needelman reporting...

Bruce, sporting four wins in four MMA bouts, returns to action in the cage this weekend for the Europe based promotion Cage Warriors. The event taking place in Florida will cause this rising star to have to ake time off from work protecting and serving the people he will entertain during his fight. Here is his comment about his new opponent and his life:

"I am fighting Chino Duran, he is replacing my original opponent, Shawn Red Bartlett, who became injured. Chino agreed to take the fight as long as the weight be at 150 lbs instead of 155.

Chino is a good wrestler with some ground and pound. The fight will take place in Kissimmee, Fl, on March 29, 2008. The event is a UK event, Cage Warriors. I have to take two days off from being a police officer one for weigh-ins and the other for the fight, then it is straight back to work and off to a SWAT school for the week. I will not get to take the break I would like to after the fight but that's the nature of the beast.

Being a Police Officer helps me in the cage because I am constantly in real life situations and see bad things, so when I get into the cage its a release and a freedom from the outside world."

Tickets should still be available.
