Paul Day Gets 30 Day Suspension, Fights Jorge Masvidal Sept. 11

The other shoe has dropped on Paul Daley for his UFC 113 actions following his bout with Josh Koscheck. Daley took a cheap shot at Kos after the final bell in a bout Koscheck controlled and now the Quebec Commission has handed Daley a 30 day suspension for unprofessional conduct according to a report on Sherdog.com.

The suspension likely won't effect Daley's next bout which is scheduled for September 11th at Shark Fights 13 against Jorge Masvidal in welterweight action.

“Semtex” last fought against Daniel Acacio and won via submission at Impact FC 2: “The Uprising” on July 18 in Sydney, Australia.

Daley has also signed a fight contract with San Jose based Strikeforce so fans can expect to be seeing a lot of Daley, just not in the UFC.
