Photo: Miesha Tate Shows Off Broken Orbital Bone

As noted earlier this week, UFC Women’s Bantamweight contender Miesha Tate suffered a broken orbital bone as a result of a punch from Sara McMann during their UFC 183 fight this past Saturday night. Now, four days later, “Cupcake” Tate is showing off the damage of the shot.

The number two ranked contender in the UFC Women’s Bantamweight division recently posted the following photo of her face, which shows off her swollen eye as a result of suffering a broken orbital bone in two places.

The photo was accompanied by the following caption:

“Post fight selfie! No makeup no filter, I am surprised a broken orbital bone can look completely normal, it still hurts quite a bit and I can’t look down without pain and blurred vision but I am in good spirits! Sara packs one hell of a punch I will say that much!! I will keep everyone updated on the healing process! Thanks for the support!!”
